Our friend Mary from Wisconsin brought us two quilts she made while here in Texas this Winter. One is a graduation gift for her granddaughter. It is made of beautiful batiks. We used an edge to edge Dragonflies and Valentines quilt pattern with a beautiful variegated thread.
The second, is also a graduation gift for another granddaughter who was graduating from the Airforce Academy. On this quilt we used an edge to edge Mendering Star quilt pattern.
The Circle W Quilters asked for another quilt to be completed. They have created a larger version to be raffled as a fund raiser. This lap quilt was made with leftover blocks and they decided to showcase it with the larger quilt. Here is the junior version we quilted:
Here are some of the quilts the Circle W Quilters sent over for long arm quilting. We continued to experiment with the machine and discover new patterns as well as machine features.
